Walked down Jacobs ladder on way back down to Edale from kinder scout. Well maintained and would be tough going up.

a lovely walk
We started at the bottom of Edale and did a 6 hour walk in the Peaks including walking Jacobs ladder.

The best views in the country - in my opinion
Mild to mid challenging route across the District. Thoroughly enjoyable work but be mindful - the weather can change in a matter of minutes. Don't be caught out, and be prepared.

A great place!!
A great place to visit if you are fit enough to manage the walk. Fabulous views and a welcome relief when your legs finally forgive you whichever way you have travelled!

Stunning
we walked here on our first part of the Pennine Way Walk. It was a Monday morning and there were very few people about. Took time to take a rest here and some photos. Well worth the walk.
