I went there twice actually! It was soo nice! The church, the view from the church are great! Also you can hike a little bit and have even greater view! In the morning there are lots of mountain goats around!

My favorite spot in Armenia
I was cycling and I decided to make the side trip from Areni up the canyon to Noravank. So beautiful. Definitely worth the extra effort to get there.

This is very well preserved monastery with interesting history...stunning views of surrounding canyon with colourful stones...really beautiful.

Fantastic!
We have visited so many monasteries, however this one stands out above the rest.
Access to the church is via two steep and narrow staircases that don't have any handrails!
Noravank is a must-visit
