A fantastic area and this is a decent ascent. It can get busy but most things that are good get busy!

Love the Ladder!!
Our annual visit to Edale just wouldn’t be the same without climbing Jacobs ladder to see the views! And this year we had followed the Be Kinder trail which was great fun and led us to the pink top!!

Stunning Views
A great little climb up some stony steps will reward you with some stunning views of the valley below and the mountains surrounding you, including Kinder Scout and its numerous wonderful ridge line rock formations.

A wet walk
Unfortunately the weather was not with us for our walk up Jacobs Ladder. However by the time we got nearly to the top the rain stopped and the mists lifted. The view down the valley made it all worth while.

Enjoyble!!
I enjoyed the descent of Jacobs ladder greatly. We took the steep path and I was only frustrated that I couldn’t take both.
