I liked it as it was not the crowded place. You could combine a walk in the area with some shopping and light dinner.

A place to go out
Dubai Marina is fun with many bars with great atmosphere as well as the yachting club and all the very nice yachts keyed there.

Amazing View Palm
Palm Jumeirah is an artificial island built in a palm tree shape. It is located along Jumeirah coastal area of Dubai. It has lots of high-end hotels, plush apartment towers, and upscale restaurants. Everything is on the expensive side.
